Calcul Québec’s workshops are now free

Septembre 23, 2026 – Good news! All workshops offered by Calcul Québec are now available free of charge to members of Canada’s academic research community, as well as to people working for Canadian non-profit organizations (NPOs).

Easier access to training activities

This announcement reflects Calcul Québec’s ongoing commitment to serving the research community by giving it access to digital skills that can be applied directly to its projects.

New topics part of the program

To better meet the community’s evolving needs, Calcul Québec is also expanding its programming with two new workshops on software tools and a new lunch conference highlighting the services offered by Calcul Québec.

Our activities cover key topics for the research community: digital fundamentals, advanced computing, using CPU and GPU resources, data management, data analysis and visualization, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing.
