Resource allocation competitions 2017
Compute Canada recently published an outline of the Resource Allocation Competitions for 2017. A major change this year is the new reference year. Allocations will now be awarded for the period of April 1st to April first of the following year, whereas they were previously awarded for a calendar year. As a transitory measure, all allocations for 2016 will be extended to April 1, 2017.
There will be three different competitions for the 2017 resource allocations. The outlines of all three competitions are available on Compute Canada’s website:
- Research Platforms and Portals (RPP) Competition
- Resources for Research Groups (RRG) Competition
- Fast Track – by invite only
Here are a few important dates for the 2017 Resource Allocation Competitions :
