Calcul Québec participates in the 2022 pan-Québec hackathon HackQC

Montréal, October 28, 2022 – With the theme Les données au service de la transition écologique, Calcul Québec is once again participating in the pan-Québec HackQC hackathon, which takes place from October 28 to November 6, 2022.

“Calcul Québec is proud to participate in the 2022 edition of the HackQC hackathon by offering hosting on our cloud infrastructures for the digital applications developed during the competition,” explains Charles Coulombe, analyst and training coordinator at Calcul Québec.

The objective of the 2022 HackQC hackathon is to bring together the next generation of information technologists and enable them to contribute to the development of Québec smart cities.

Participants work in teams of 4 to 6 people from the start of the competition and will have until Saturday, November 5 to finalize their project using one of the 1,200 open data sets available on the Données Québec portal.

HackQC is a pan-Québec programming competition that aims to promote the open data of the Données Québec portal and to respond to citizen concerns.
