Calcul Québec participates in the McGill Physics Hackathon 2022

 

Montreal, November 1, 2022 – Once again this year, Calcul Québec is taking part in the McGill Physics Hackathon, a friendly computer programming competition taking place on November 5 and 6, 2022.

The McGill Physics Hackathon is a friendly computer programming competition! During the Hackathon, participants will have 24 hours to work on different projects that unite physical sciences and computer science.

For a third consecutive year, Calcul Québec is proud to participate in this competition by offering 12 nodes with 8 cores, 1 to 2 vGPUs and 128 GB of storage. The cluster will have the same software environment as the national Alliance clusters.

Throughout this Hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to meet other computer programming enthusiasts. Experts from academia and industry will also be present.

Calcul Québec analysts will be on site and act as mentors.
